The USACE CQM positions and prepares Joe for USCAE and Navy Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) contracted work. Joe is also LEED AP with BD+C certified. His knowledge of green building practices and sustainability benefits many Encore projects, including current work with Montgomery Parks, a private residence, and the live-work-play Packing House conversion of the Phillips Packing Company Plant in Cambridge, MD.

Over the last few years, Joe served as project manager on the award-winning historic Belnord Theatre restoration project on which Encore provided historical architect, historic tax credit, and LEED sustainability services. In 2022, Encore Architects will be working on additional projects with CASA, including a new welcome center in Rockville, MD.

Additional projects include the ongoing preservation of the Menokin/Glass House Project colonial home in Warsaw, VA and the preservation and adaptive reuse of a 200+ year old cabin into the Clarksburg Beer and Wine Store which opened to the public in 2021.
