MSK Multifamily Dwelling
Fort Washington, MD
In 2019, Encore Sustainable Architects was retained by Carolina Missionary Baptist Church to develop designs for one-of-a-kind multifamily dwelling in Fort Washington, Maryland.
This new sustainable building project featured 24 apartments with two – three bedrooms each on three upper floors. Ground floor property amenities included a playground and daycare facility as well as a community center, dining and classrooms. A green roof design topped the building with a meditation area nestled within it. Project plans included sustainable prefab elements, solar panels and a multitude of energy efficiency measures.
